Anrchy Clothing

This project is a student project, ANRCHY Clothing is not a real brand, but during the project I treated it as such. The fictional company was going to be producing punk/post-punk inspired clothing for young adults. Their demographic were people in the music scene, music fans, and young adults on the edge of those interests. The brand required a unique and edgy logo, and a custom font to be used for future marketing projects. Using this new logo, they also wanted a mock up magazine advertisement to debut their clothing brand and style. The project started with creating a custom punk inspired font, and then building the logo off of that. The first image is a stylesheet showing the completed font and some examples of it in use.

this image shows the custom font with all its characters.

The logo for the company was created using the classic anarchy sign as inspiration, combining the 'A' and 'O' from the font and then stylizing it to fit the feel of the brand. Using the font and the new logo, I created the final logotype you see here.

With the branding complete, I moved on to the magazine mock ups. I wanted them to mimic the minimal style of well known brands, and focus the viewers attention on the brand and the clothing itself. Because of this, I opted to leave out copy about the brand to make it feel like a well established brand you would naturally come across in a magazine. The photos of the model were taken by me, and give off the feel of the brand well.

This final images show a second full page design mocked up in a magazine, using the branding to create an advertisement that stands out and will catch the readers eyes as they go through the magazine. A clothing tag was also made to match the branding and design of the company.
